Australian forward Andrew Bogot will continue his NBA career, which he has been away from since March because of a broken leg, by signing the Los Angeles Lakers for a year.
The 32-year-old has been a free agent since his break from the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 2, but only four days later he broke his left leg less than a minute after scoring his 2016 debut.
David Bowman's manager revealed the deal was completed with the Lakers via his Twitter account. The Australian is expected to receive 2.3 million euros for a one-year contract.
Bogot hopes the next season will be better than before, starting as a Dallas Mavericks player who scored an average of 3 points with 8.4 rebounds in his 26 games and was abandoned to the Philadelphia Sixer in an exchange that included an option to buy his contract , Which he did in February 2017 for liberation and the move to the Cavaliers.
But his career alongside LeBron James and his teammates did not last more than 58 seconds, as he broke his leg after joining Miami Heat Ocaro White.
Bogot hopes to help bring the Lakers back to the playoffs he has missed in the last four seasons.
