YORK (Reuters) - New York star Nick Carmelo Anthony, 33, is on the verge of moving to Oklahoma City Thunder, one of the strongest teams in the NBA's western region, according to several media outlets.

Anthony, who is the co-star of the All-Star game which brings together Eastern and Western stars each year, is part of an exchange deal with the New York Knicks, which will include Turkish midfielder Anis Kanter and wing Doug McDermott, 25, DRAFT 2018.
Oklahoma, if the deal is to be officially announced Monday, will be the third club for New York-born Anthony and also defended the colors of the Denver Nuggets from 2003 to 2011.
Anthony will join players who have also played in the All-Star game: Russell Westbrook, last season's best player, and Paul George, who is the Indiana Pacers.
